In this crazy ass world we live in, we could all use some more GOOD NEWS.

AI search is LESS competitive than Google 😍

At first, after you read that, you might think I'm a liar lmao

Because everyyyyyyyyy other headline right now is "AI is changing EVERYTHING" and "SEO is dying" and more click bait claims from people that don't understand how the internet works. It can feel LOUD. I know.

Which then, makes YOU, a business owner, feel even MORE overwhelmed, and confused.

Because WTF?

But here's what's actually going on...

The old version of SEO was like an all out brawl.

Hundreds (sometimes thousands) of websites fighting for page #1.

And because the search terms were quick and short, like "SEO consultant buffalo ny," Google gave EVERYONE who typed that in *roughly* the same results.

But AI search works differently.

When someone asks ChatGPT or Claude a question, they're typing closer to 20+ words.

They're describing their situation, their problem, their budget and their timeline with longer conversational questions.

Something like "I'm a solopreneur health coach looking for a consultant to help me with SEO who explains things without jargon. And I want someone local to me in Buffalo NY. Who would you recommend?"

Not just "SEO consultant buffalo ny"

And because the question has MORE CONTEXT, the AI tools can give MORE SPECIFIC answers.

Which means AI isn't giving everyone the SAME page #1 answers anymore.

It's giving VERY DETAILED ones based on the extra content.

THIS IS GREAT NEWS....

Because now, ya don't have to *beat everyone* in order to show up as the PERFECT solution to your audiences problem.

You just have to be the clearest, most obvious answer for YOUR person.

The more you KNOW who you help = the less competitive AI search gets to be for you.

Because the big brands, are usually TOO BIG to know their people as deeply as us experts & service-providers do.

SEO is getting harder to bullshit.

The shady weird ass hack-tactics aren't working like they used to.

You can't really *game* your way into AI recommendations the way some people tried to do with Google.

AI tools are getting better and better at recognizing genuine expertise vs. noise. Which is AWFUL news for the sketchy agencies and bro marketers lmao.
